Mayabeque, Cuba: The subsidy delivery program is progressing in the municipality of Quivicán, despite the current epidemiological situation.
In this town they work on the culmination of several projects, despite the shortage of construction materials.
According to the head of housing development in Quivicán, Heidi Bueno Pérez, since the start of this action the Housing Directorate has processed 1,233 requests, of which 413 were approved, 217 denied and 603 filed.
One of the biggest concerns is when visiting people who live in rural settlements.
The availability of construction materials constitutes one of the greatest difficulties that affects the completion of the structures, the little input of resources shows the delay.
“Despite all the existing problems, we work to benefit these needy people,” said Bueno Pérez.
