Cuba: The Cuban government approved six alternatives for the acquisition of systems of renewable energy sources by natural and legal persons to promote the change of the energy matrix, official sources affirmed.
During a press conference, executives of the Ministry of Energy and Mines pointed out that the options range from importation by natural persons (accompanied cargo or not), by shipment through the three authorized importers, to sales in virtual and physical stores in currencies and in national currency.
In addition, with the novelty of buying from the National Electric Unión an installed kilowatt of photovoltaic generation for a value of 1,500 dollars, equivalent to a reduction in its monthly rate of 125 kilowatt hours with a benefit of 20 years.
In statements to Prensa Latina, the head of the aforementioned ministry, Liván Arronte, said that the measures recently approved in the Official Gazette are in coherence with the 2030 Agenda and contribute to the development of renewable energy sources.
