Mayabeque, Cuba: The daily statistics on the Covid-19 pandemic lacerate the hearts of those of us who live in this province, a sentiment shared by all Cubans, particularly when it comes to contagion and even the death of those who are the most precious treasure of the homeland: children.
This was expressed by the First Secretary of the Cuban Women Federation (FMC by its Spanish initials) in Melena del Sur, Mayumi León Quintana.
