Canadian tour operator will begin operations to Cuba in October

Havana, Cuba: Hello Sun / Caribe Sol, a tour operator specialized in trips from Canada to Cuba, announced the return of its operations to the Island in collaboration with the OWG airline, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

The group’s website is already providing details on the availability of reservations for destinations such as Cayo Santa María in Villa Clara, Trinidad and Cienfuegos in the central region of the Greater Antilles, Holguín, Santa Lucía in Camagüey and Santiago de Cuba in the area eastern, places that will be reached by flights departing from Toronto and Montreal starting in October.

Cuban accommodation and extra-hotel facilities in operation were categorized with the More Hygienic and Safe Tourism certification, which takes into account the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the national Ministries of Public Health and Tourism to guarantee health security in all your processes.

The service personnel went through a preparation process to provide the required care, and travelers must comply with the protocols established to face possible infections with Covid-19 in each of the facilities, including those located outside the hotels.

The Canadian airline OWG (acronym for Off We Go, Allá Vamos in Spanish) is a subsidiary of the Quebec-based charter company Nolinor Aviation, and in July of last year announced the partnership with Hola Sun / Caribe Sol.

Until 2019, Canada constituted the first issuing market for vacationers to Cuba, which that year served more than one million travelers from that origin.

After the suspension of operations due to the international epidemiological situation, both countries seek to recover the contacts associated with the leisure industry.
