Mayabeque, Cuba: Peasants from the municipality of Batabanó donated food to the ?Los Cieguitos? Children’s Campaign Hospital, located in Bejucal.
The president of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in the municipality, Yadira Otaño Ruvalcaba, says that one hundred pounds of fruit and fifty of vegetables were delivered to the prioritized center.
The donation was voluntary and at no cost to the benefit of the children and the staff who work there to guarantee quality food.
In these difficult times, the workers of the land put all their efforts and even with few products they achieve the greatest fruits of it, to provide help to those most in need.
