US Policy against Cuba destined to failure, President says.

Havana, Cuba: The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, ratified today that the aggressive policy of the United States against his country has been destined to fail for more than 60 years, Prensa Latina publishes.

In his official Twitter account, the president noted that “the stubborn desire to see the end of the Revolution founded by the historic leader Fidel Castro in 1959 will never come true.”

?Wake up from that dream. It is not going to happen?, the head of state remarked on that platform.

The day before, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez reaffirmed the island’s will to defend sovereignty and internal peace, threatened by campaigns encouraged from abroad to subvert the revolutionary process.

In an appearance before representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Havana, the Minister of Foreign Affairs denounced the illegal nature of a march called for next Monday by whom he described as internal agents recruited, financed and organized by the United States Government.

Likewise, he rejected Washington’s interference in the internal affairs of the country, as well as its support for those attempts to destabilize in moments of national celebration after the control of the Covid-19 pandemic and the return to the new normal.

With strict adherence to our Constitution and the consensus that characterizes us, the people will defend public order, emphasized the head of diplomacy.
