Mayabeque, Cuba: A Peasants Guateque will take place this Saturday, November 20, at 3:00 in the afternoon, at the Casa de la Décima de Mayabeque, located in the municipality of Güines.
The meeting will feature the participation of the poets Osbel Suárez, José Enrique Paz (Papillo), Héctor Gutiérrez, Albertico Rojas and the young Anamarys Gil and Brayan Alejandro.
According to the report by Anamarys Gil, cultural promoter of the Casa de la Décima de Mayabeque, spinel lovers will also enjoy the Son y Punto group and the children of the repentismo workshops.
The Casa de la Décima de Mayabeque was founded on September 30, 2009 on the eighty-seventh anniversary of the birth of the 1995 Jesús Orta Ruiz National Prize for Literature, El Indio Naborí, a date chosen as the Ibero-American Day of the Tenth.
