Mayabeque, Cuba: In the Cultural Balcony of the Agrarian University of Havana “Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez” of Mayabeque and from the digital platforms Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram, the University Book and Reading Festival (FULL in Spanish) will be held with face-to-face activities until this November 19th.
The program includes exchanges with writers and artists from the Hermanos Saiz Association, presentation of books by authors from the province, sale of magazines, postcards and posters by the postal staff of San José de Las Lajas, as well as the Montecallado Club space, dedicated to the FULL and the birth of Cintio Vitier.
On the other hand, the final days of the literary festival, propose a conference of renowned professors and authors of books from the UNAH, the closing of the contest through the Radio Base and a cultural event with the amateur artists of that institution of the Higher education.
From social networks, a digital contest will be presented via WhatsApp, with the purpose of sharing texts of your liking and through the presidents of the University Student Federation of the different faculties, recognition will be given to all participants.
They also created a group on Telegram for the exchange on November 19 between students, writers and artists from the province; a space that, as a closing, will encourage debate and reflection.
