Havana, Cuba: The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported this Tuesday one deceased and 142 samples positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for a cumulative of 962 thousand 628 diagnoses since the beginning of the disease in the nation, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
At midnight yesterday, November 30, 3,257 patients were admitted, 2,455 suspects, 102 under surveillance and 700 confirmed active.
For COVID-19, a total of 18 thousand 275 samples were made for surveillance during the day, 142 being positive. The country accumulates 11 million 116 thousand 221 samples taken and 962 thousand 628 positive.
Of the total number of cases (142): 136 were contacts of confirmed cases; 4 with a source of infection abroad; 2 without a specified source of infection. Of the 142 diagnosed cases, 66 were female and 76 male.
14.1% (20) of the 142 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 132 thousand 574, which represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date.
Of the 142 diagnosed cases, they belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (21), from 20 to 39 years old (29), from 40 to 59 years old (46), 60 and over (46).
Of the 962 thousand 628 patients diagnosed with the disease, 700 remain hospitalized, of them 675 with stable clinical evolution. There are 8,305 deaths (1 per day), a fatality rate of 0.86% vs. 1.99% in the world and 2.42% in the Americas; two evacuees, 55 returned to their countries, on the day there were 229 discharges, 953 thousand 566 recovered patients accumulate (99.06%). 25 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, 11 of them critical and 14 seriously ill.

Until November 30, 191 countries and 32 territories with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 262 million 744 thousand 36 (+ 607 thousand 390) with 20 million 270 thousand 371 active cases and 5 million 229 thousand 614 deaths ( + 8,109) for a lethality of 1.99% (=).
