Mayabeque, Cuba: In the municipality of Jaruco, 342 public health workers received the booster dose of the Abdala vaccine.
As part of the process they will reinforce the immunity of approximately 900 health workers, students of Medical Sciences and workers of Optics and Pharmacy, who in May were injected with the three doses of the immunogen.
With this strategy, the Ministry of Public Health will keep antibody levels high and reduce serious evolution and hospitalizations due to the different variants of the coronavirus that continue to circulate.
The doses of the booster vaccines will be applied with Cuban biotechnological products and will gradually benefit the entire population of Barcelona that received the complete scheme.
