Mayabeque, Cuba: The deficit of essential raw materials affected the productions of the Porfirio Ruiseco Base Business Unit (UEB) of Drinks and Refreshments, from Madruga, during this final stage of the year.
After several days interrupted, the municipality’s entity restarted the industrial processes after acquiring a percentage of the acids necessary in the production of syrups and soft drinks, which will allow the production of some 100,000 bags in 15 days to compensate for the delays.
The implementation of new technologies favored the marketing since last September of more than 50 thousand two-liter canisters per month, with national essences, thus contributing to the substitution of imports.
In addition, it is the purpose of the workers of that territory, depending on the availability of raw material, to resume in January the rhythm of production close to 350 thousand units per month to benefit the gastronomic network of the municipality and the province.
