The Hurricanes of Mayabeque returned to the top after knocking out the Tigres de Ciego de Ávila, previous leader.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Hurricanes of Mayabeque paid the Tigers of Ciego de Ávila with the same coin and regained the top of the 61st National Baseball Series.

Those led by Michael González hit 11 hits and scored the same number of runs to dispatch the contraries on the fast track, 11 to one, at the Nelson Fernández stadium in San José de las Lajas.

The victory corresponded to José Ignacio Bermúdez and the defeat to the experienced Vladimir García, who allowed six clean annotations in two and a half innings of action.

On offense for the winners, Yasniel González, Alexander Pozo, Javier Carabeo and Lázaro Martínez stood out, the latter with another homer on his account.

Yasniel González is having a dream start to the season, as he averages 550 and is the leader in that department.
