Mayabeque, Cuba: Members of the National Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired (ANCI), in Madruga, analyzed the work of the last 12 months.

Gathered in the theater room of the municipality, the delegates to the annual assembly debated important aspects, some of which constitute demands of the membership to improve their social life in the midst of their physical limitations.

While they agreed on the need to keep the avenues for improvement activated, other analyzes and debates suggested revitalizing the priority of seats for the blind and visually impaired in passenger buses.

During the meeting they also presented the new procedure to enter the association, which requires specialized medical examinations.

Likewise, they agreed to resume the operation of craft workshops that enable the social development of the membership and improve the conditions to attend recreational spaces.

The meeting was chaired by the President of the Association in Mayabeque, David Ibarra, the member of the Municipal Bureau of the Party, Ariadna Pavón Guerrero and other leaders of the municipality and the province.
