For COVID-19, a total of 8,604 samples were taken for surveillance on the day, with 396 being positive for 4.6% positivity. The country accumulates 13 million 098 thousand 729 samples carried out and 1 million 070 thousand 258 positives (8.2%).
Of the total cases (396): 387 were contacts of confirmed cases, 2 with a source of infection abroad and 7 without a specified source of infection. Of the 396 diagnosed cases, 223 were female and 173 male.
4.3% (17) of the 396 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 145,158, which represents 13.5% of those confirmed to date.
Of the 396 diagnosed cases, they belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (83), 20 to 39 years old (112), 40 to 59 years old (97), 60 and over (104).
