Mayabeque, Cuba: As part of the growth of the student movement of amateur artists in Mayabeque, young people from Batabanó premiered the musical theme Somos la FEEM, in a day of entertainment for their graduation.
The song is proposed to identify the Federation of High School Students in the province.
Its authors commented that the emergence of this musical work is the result of artistic creation workshops in the coastal municipality. In addition, they interpret it together with their student organization president.
The composition addresses the proper functioning of the student council at the school level, the importance of the contribution of young people to tasks that have an impact on society, and especially on culture, as well as how essential it is to redouble efforts to succeed in the individual training as future professionals.
The authors also explained that they have the prospect of making a video clip to show the actions of the youth committed to the Revolution.
The song shows human values, principles, attitudes, idiosyncrasies and identity, and is a reaffirmation of the ideals of the young people who make up the Federation of High School Students.
