Mayabeque, Cuba: The theater group Estro de Montecallado from Mayabeque will perform on March 21 at the thirtieth Susana Alexander International Theater Festival, based in Puebla, Mexico City, with the play The Dream Factory.
The solo show is performed by the actress Hanny Gómez Cunill. The work is aimed at children-youth audiences.
The director of the group, José Miguel Pérez Díaz (Jochy), says that the festival is a propitious space for cultural exchange between Cuban artists and artists from other nations such as Spain, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Puerto Rico, the United States, France, Israel, among others.
The meeting lays the foundations for creating a creative, conscious society or community, with socio-cultural interests and for the arts, in addition to supporting the creation of new works.
