Mayabeque, Cuba: Specialists from the ?Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez? Agrarian University of Havana (UNAH) located in San José de las Lajas, capital of Mayabeque, will participate on March 23 and 24, 2022, in the First Online Forum on bee honey and beekeeping in Cuba, organized by the Cuban Beekeeping Company APICUBA.

The UNAH is one of the sponsors of this event together with the Beekeeping Research Center, a space that will be an opportunity to present the main results of the island in the production of honey and other beehive products.

As published on the Facebook page of this house of advanced agrarian studies, the APICUBA program will include lectures and virtual panels, which will serve as an exchange platform for renowned researchers and beekeepers from other nations.

On the second day of this Forum, a virtual business meeting will be held to generate and strengthen alliances, as well as future negotiations for the development of exports in the Cuban beekeeping sector.

Both interactive spaces will promote the sustainable development of beekeeping and the trade of beekeeping products, the protection and control of bees, and actions that support the quality of beekeeping products in the largest of the Antilles.
