Cuban President leads business forum with Algeria

Havana: Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today heads the Business Forum between delegations from this nation and Algeria, a meeting that strengthens ties between the parties and points to the future of trade relations, according to Prensa Latina.

The appointment with a stage at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, is part of the Intergovernmental Commission that will take place for three days starting this Monday in Havana. The Cuban Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero, is also present at that meeting.

For its part, the business forum runs from this Tuesday until tomorrow with the presentation of core issues such as Perspectives and transformations of the Cuban economy, investments in Algeria, particularly the management of the decentralized single window of the city of Oran, and foreign investment in Cuba.

Business opportunities in Algeria and the possibilities in the Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM) in the western part of this island are also discussed.
