Ramallah: Two young people were killed and several wounded today caused by Israel’s persistent aggression against the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, Prensa Latina publishes.
According to the Health Ministry, the enemy army shot Ahmad Jamal Assaf (19 years old) and Warani Walid Qatanat (24 years old) during an assault on the northern West Bank city of Qabatia, south of Jenin.
Witnesses assured the use of force by the Israeli military when searching and looting several houses in the western neighborhood of the city, the Wafa agency said.
During the assault, the soldiers opened fire on a car, killing the aforementioned youths and inflicting gunshot wounds to the chest and stomach of a third party.
In this context, a group of settlers, under the strong protection of the Israeli Army, attacked farmers near the town of Deir Dibwan and opened fire on the Palestinians who confronted them. As a consequence, three victims were transferred to the Ramallah Medical Complex; meanwhile, the Israeli raid on the village of Kafr Na’ma continued, without recording any injuries.
In parallel, Israeli settlers set up tents on Palestinian properties in the village of Jabaa, west of the city of Bethlehem, which is usually a prelude to seizing the land, reported the Al-Quds and Al-Ayyam newspapers.
Also, the occupation soldiers notified the demolition of a house and ordered to stop works on a school and another residence in the town of Ma’een in Masafer Yatta in the hills south of Hebron,
These actions constitute an expression of Israel’s constant siege against Palestine, just hours away from causing 15 deaths yesterday during a bombardment of the Gaza Strip and incursions into the West Bank.
