United States vs Cuba: Financial Persecution, Cruelty, Attacks on those Who Defend us

It is clear to everyone that the aggressiveness of the empire and its brutality is the greatest global threat, which affects Cuba with a tightening of the blockade through greater financial persecution, the president adds, Granma Digital reports.

They try to divide us using issues like raciality or the LGBTI community. Opinion leaders who defend the Revolution are viciously attacked in order to weaken leaderships, especially on the Internet.

Frei Betto – Díaz-Canel mentioned – says that they are not social networks, they are digital networks, because there they often behave in an antisocial way. In these scenarios, it is a question of demonstrating a governmental incapacity in Cuba, and our main sources of income are constantly denigrated and attacked to strangle them.

CUBA’S ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL STRATEGY TO BOOST THE ECONOMY IN a POST-COVID-19 CRISIS SITUATION

The POSCOVID-19 situation is marked by economic contractions, repressed inflation, productive insufficiencies, supply problems, crime and illegalities, and we have had to introduce a partial dollarization of the economy.

There are also the challenges of the ordering task that should lead us to monetary and exchange unification?. That scenario makes us work more intensely. 

Some of the actions of that strategy have already been applied, which we will delve into at other times.

THE ORDERING TASK IS AT THE MOMENT OF TRAINING FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION

In the case of the Ordenamiento Task, which must lead to monetary and exchange unification, we must say that it is in a training phase of the people who must carry out its implementation.

The president asked the people not to follow false news or “balls” that transmit incomplete or erroneous information about the monetary and exchange unification. It is important – he pointed out – that the population knows that all the information will be given in due course.

The president also addressed that, in recent days, information was leaked from a person who was participating in a training activity for the implementation, but what was disclosed was something used as an example to illustrate the process. Therefore, he added, official information on the subject should be followed.

The Ordenamiento Task involves a reform of wages, pensions and prices. He reiterated, once again, as was done in the Central Report to the VII Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, the decision to guarantee the deposits in bank accounts in foreign currencies, convertible pesos (CUC) and Cuban pesos (CUP), as well as the cash held by the population.

Nobody has to be concerned with their accounts, whether in MN, CUC, MLC, including our collaborators, because we have information that false information about their accounts is already being spread.

We are going to keep the national currency, which will have a convertibility to the others, he said. The day the start of the unification is announced, there is no need to rush to the banks, a time will be guaranteed for people to change their money. Díaz-Canel also addressed the benefits of monetary and exchange unification.

He announced that, in the coming days, complete information will be given on this complex process of strategic scope that, although it is not a magic solution to all the problems of our economy, it will help to unblock much of what is necessary now for the country Advance.

HOW WILL CUBA ADVANCE TOWARDS THE NEW NORMALITY?

The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero, begins his speech with an explanation of the context in which Cuba is embarking on the path to a new normal.

THE USE OF THE NASOBUCO OR MASK IS MANDATORY IN ALL PHASES

The Prime Minister adds that, even though the initial Plan included that the nasobuco was not mandatory in phase 3, now that has changed. It has been decided that the use of masks is MANDATORY in all public spaces, especially closed ones.
