Cuba: The United Nations Development Fund (UNDP) delivered 16 thousand real-time PCR tests to the Pedro Kourí Institute of Tropical Medicine, to contribute to the effort made by Cuba, and especially Havana, in the confrontation with the COVID-19, Radio Rebeldereports.
According to a press release offered by the UNDP regional office in Havana, the supplies have been acquired with the support of the Global Fund to Fight HIV / AIDS and resources from the rapid response mechanism of the United Nations agency.
According to the text, in these months of fighting against the current pandemic they have also supplied reagents, laboratory supplies, means of protection and medical equipment for the benefit of other hospitals in the country.
