Mayabeque, Cuba: As part of the trade reorganization process, the territory has a wholesale market for the supply of food goods for sale to non-state management.
Known as MERCABAL, this center, located in the city of Güines, permanently supplies flour, sugar and salt, through a contract to guarantee the demand and a better projection to buy assortments with a reduction of 20 percent of the price.
This wholesale market is necessary for the development of self-employment, at the same time that it allows mobilizing the productive and marketing capacity of the province, in order to satisfy the demand of those who use it as a form of supply.
