Havana: At the end of this Sunday, Cuba reported 42 new cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative of 4,726 since last March; 110 medical discharges and no deaths, informed the National Director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Dr. Francisco Durán García, Cubadebate publishes.
The Cuban health authority said that 1,729 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical-epidemiological surveillance: 67 under surveillance, 1,086 suspects and 576 confirmed.
7,380 samples were studied and 42 were positive. The country accumulates 492 527 tests carried out; of them, 4,726 positive.

Until September 13, 185 countries with COVID-19 cases are reported, the number of confirmed cases rises to 28 million 802 thousand 775 (+286 thousand 031) and 920 thousand 931 deaths (+4 thousand 926) for a fatality of 3.19 % (-0.02).
In the region of the Americas, 14 million 847 thousand 457 confirmed cases (+117 thousand 630) are reported, 51.54% of the total cases reported in the world, with 512 thousand 221 deaths (+2 thousand 712) for a fatality of 3.44% (-0.01).
