For COVID-19, 7,545 samples were studied, resulting in 48 positive samples.
Of the 48 diagnosed cases, 43 are Cuban and five are Indian. Of the total number of cases (48): 44 (91.6%) were contacts of confirmed cases with no specified source of infection, 4 (8.33%). Of these, 32 (66.6%) are male and 16 (33.3%) are female.

Until October 1, 185 countries with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 34 million 29 thousand 996 (+ 315 thousand 335) and 1 million 15 thousand 43 deaths (+ 6 thousand 111) for a fatality of 2, 98 (-0.01).
