Mayabeque, Cuba: The National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in the municipality of Güines carries out activities to highlight the work of rural women. At the moment, a meeting of women is planned in the Alberto Torres Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA), located in the Osvaldo Sánchez Popular Council.
The Cuban Women Federation (FMC) will recognize the outstanding women in the sector who work directly in agriculture.
According to the coordinator of agro-ecology in the municipality of Güines, Olga Lidia Rivero, they will also deliver agricultural products to the Isolation Center in the Faculty of Medical Science, in commemoration of the anniversary.
Rivero said that another planned activity is that of October 16, with a national character, it is the meeting between Bueyeros, in the CPA Cuban-Bulgarian Friendship.
There the cooperative members and hired personnel will exchange about their work and the care and handling of the animals.
