Paint production plan is exceeded at Jaruco mining plant.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The production of paintings is consolidated as well as the power of the Base Business Unit (UEB), Gustavo Machín Hoed, of Jaruco, where more than 137 thousand liters were obtained up to September.

That amount represents around 107 thousand liters above what was planned in the stage, the Head of Production of the plant, Esteban Pedro Rodríguez, said.

He stressed that the result is due to the stability in the supply of raw materials, all national, and the effort of a team of five workers dedicated to the activity.

This is an alternative production incorporated into the Gustavo Machín factory at the end of 2017 and which kept the unit afloat when they faced difficulties in their leading line, lime, due to the technological obsolescence of the equipment.

Yields multiplied in less than three years thanks also to the expansion and improvement of the production area where about 9 thousand liters of paints are obtained in each working day.

They set up a warehouse for supplies and finished products and have containers of different formats, which favor the commercialization carried out, until now, only with legal entities.

The paints of the Gustavo Machín plant that bears as a brand, La Poderosa, is in high demand for its quality in Mayabeque and in other territories of the country.

Its introduction in the factory that belongs to the Mining Company of the West, favored the income of the labor collective, and as for the national market, it alleviated the lack of a product that depended fundamentally on imported raw materials.
