Mayabeque, Cuba: The state gastronomy in Madruga is preparing for necessary changes that seek to increase the competitiveness and quality of services, in response to the requirements of the Cuban economy in the current context.
In the municipality the gastronomic network includes 31 units in the four existing popular councils and the managers and workers of the sector are trained and enter the transformations that are coming.
The process of strengthening and improving the gastronomy in Madruga has three modalities: the state network, the state network in improvement and the lease with thirteen cafeterias.
According to the program, the Roca Azul restaurant will be inserted into the state network in improvement and at this time the details of the remodeling and conditioning of the place are being finalized, after the reopening scheduled for next November.
The entity will have greater autonomy for the management and purchase of the insurances that favor the variety and stability of the offers.
The Flor de Copey restaurant, located in the main town, will be incorporated into this system, while 13 cafeterias will be leased and 16 will remain in the state network.
The objective of this reorganization is to bet on a more efficient gastronomy that contributes to the economy and has as its premise the culture of good service.
