For COVID-19 8,927 samples were studied, resulting in 52 positive samples. The country accumulates 918 thousand 559 samples carried out and 7 thousand 349 positive (0.80%).
The 52 cases diagnosed are Cuban. Of them, two are imported. Of the total number of cases (52): 41 were contacts of confirmed cases, two with a source of infection abroad and nine without a specified source of infection. Twenty-one are women and 31 are men. 82.6% (43) of the 52 positive cases were asymptomatic.

Of the 7,349 patients diagnosed with the disease, 496 (6.7%), 492 (99.1%) with stable clinical evolution remain confirmed. 130 deaths are reported (none in the day), two evacuated, 41 discharges of the day, 6,721 recovered patients accumulate (91.4%) and four patients in intensive care, of them two critical and two serious.
Until November 8, 185 countries with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 49 million 945 thousand 394 (+ 572 thousand 120) and one million 250 thousand 275 deaths (+7 thousand 192) for a fatality of 2 , 50% (-0.01).
In the region of the Americas, 21 million 737 thousand 177 confirmed cases (+ 159 thousand 237) are reported, 43.52% of the total cases reported in the world, with 659 thousand 135 deaths (+ 2 thousand 186) for a fatality of 3.03% (-0.01).
