A forum on the thought of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, is the central activity today of the virtual International Youth Meeting Ideas that are Flags.
With the auspices of the Young Communists League of the island, the event seeks to pay tribute to the historic figure on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of his physical disappearance, Prensa Latina publishes.
The program establishes that at 09:00 local time the central forum will begin, and that in the evening there will be an evening in remembrance of Fidel Castro.
Also as part of the meeting Ideas that are flags there will be interventions from the regions of Europe and Asia.
The event opened its doors yesterday, focused on the analysis of proposals facing the current challenges for the economic development and social well-being of the peoples.
Until tomorrow, the contest invites youth leaders and world personalities to debate under the slogan Unity for solidarity, anti-imperialism and anti-neoliberalism: necessary transformation action in times of Covid-19.
Likewise, it recognizes the work of health personnel in confronting the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and the contribution of the new generations in this scenario.
The space is accessible through the website www.ujc.cu and UJCuba’s social networks, and is accompanied by the tags #IdeasQueSonBanderas, #FidelPorSiempre and # JóvenesDeIzquierda.
