Cuban economists and accountants celebrate this anniversary with pride and immersed in transcendental tasks for Cuba.
It is the Cuban economists who are united in the commitment to carry out an update of the economic and social model.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, at the closing of the Congress of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC), Palacio de Convenciones, June 14, 2019, said:
“It is true that there is no society without an economy. And while there is no economy without production, neither can it be run efficiently without effective economists, accountants, and auditors. When you work well, you almost always prosper. When it is not, we stagnate, regress and prosperity is postponed. “
