Mayabeque, Cuba: With the presence of the Member of the Central Committee and President of the Defense Council, Yanina de la Nuez Aclich, the plenary session of the Provincial Committee of the Party took place in Mayabeque where they critically analyzed issues of interest for the socio-economic development of the territory.
At the meeting, they analyzed aspects of compliance with the policy established in the health sector and the necessary increase in the fight against the pandemic in the province, as well as the role of the Party in the political-ideological preparation of militants and workers.
They also evaluated the process of improving the retail trade according to the strategy to boost the economy. Issues such as the fight against illegalities, the development of computerization and electronic commerce were also addressed.
The emotions of the recently concluded eighth Party Congress were also part of the meeting that also served for the exchange between generations.
