Delivery of milk to the industry is stable in Batabanó.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The milk collection center in Batabanó improves the dairy reception system produced by the municipality’s cooperative and peasant sector.

Created 5 years ago, the objective of the unit is to collect milk destined for the industry.

With a capacity for 500 liters per day, it is equipped with the necessary technology, which facilitates better understanding of the behavior of indicators such as food density and temperature.

This milk collection center is also taxed by the Credit and Services Cooperatives (CCS) Niceto Pérez and Rubén Marichal and the Farm of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), which have a high responsibility in complying with the delivery plans for the industrial processes. Added to this effort is the perishing collection center for the agricultural company.

The workers of these units comply with the hygienic-sanitary measures to receive and preserve the product and be sent with the quality it requires.

Growing up in milk delivery is one of the challenges of the peasantry in Mayabeque. Those who meet or exceed the monthly delivery plan to the industry, the payment is 9 pesos per liter, one of the 63 measures adopted by the top leadership of the Revolution for the agricultural sector.
