Havana: The national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, Dr. Francisco Durán, reported this Monday 68 deaths and 9,279 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for a cumulative of 403 thousand 622 diagnoses since the beginning of the disease in the nation, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at the midnight yesterday 94 thousand 608 patients were admitted, 46 thousand 611 of them suspects, 4 thousand 42 in epidemiological surveillance and 43 thousand 955 confirmed cases.
Durán explained that the country analyzed 45,134 samples the day before for a cumulative 6 million 609 thousand 428 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 9,279 patients, 499 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 9,225 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 21 have a source of infection abroad and in 33 people the source of contagion is unknown and 9,258 are autochthonous.
Of the total confirmed, 4,397 are male and 4,882 female. Regarding the age groups, 1,612 children under 19 years of age were diagnosed. In the ages of 20 to 39 years, 2 thousand 787 cases were confirmed, between 40 and 59 years 3 thousand 53 cases and thousand 827 people older than 60 years.

The two evacuees remain, 54 returnees and 356 thousand 698 recovered patients accumulate (8 thousand 211 discharges of the day). 153 critically ill patients and 232 critically ill patients are reported.
