Mayabeque, Cuba: Workers of the Basic Business Unit (UEB) Industria de Batabanó, belonging to the Agroforestry Group of this province, takes on new challenges in the face of the complex epidemiological situation of the territory, with the production of beds for the admission of patients at the isolation centers.
The director of the entity, Ernesto Prieto, declared that in record time they have delivered 300, of which 100 were sent to the province of Matanzas and assumed the production of wooden IV poles for hospitals.
The manager added that among the prioritized municipalities are Batabanó and Madruga, due to the spread of the pandemic in those locations. They delivered 20 beds to guarantee the stay of the medical brigade that is today in Batabanó working in the prevention and control of Covid-19.
The productions of the Batabanó Industry Base Business Unit (UEB), belonging to the Agroforestry Group of this province, today reach where they are most needed.
