Mayabeque, Cuba: Despite the presence of Covid-19 this year and the increase in positive cases in the country, the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) will not miss the 61st anniversary of the organization.
In Batabanó the municipal act will take place this afternoon at the Mártires de Granada School, in a simple way and complying with hygienic-sanitary measures.
Among the planned activities is the delivery of recognitions to CDRs´ members and families in compliance with the tasks of the organization and to outstanding citizens in blood donations.
The municipal coordinator of the CDRs, Noslen Agüedo Pérez, expressed that it is an opportunity to check the growth process, due to the importance of incorporating the new generations into the country’s mass organization.
