Mayabeque, Cuba: Public health professionals in Mayabeque today receive the title of Graduates from the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
They number more than 300 who are committed to contributing to the noble task of saving human lives in several places in the youngest province in the country.
The Academic Vice Dean, Dr. Elba Torres Martínez, highlights the value of graduates and the role they play on a social scale.
The house of higher studies graduated professionals in the careers of medicine, stomatology, nursing, health information system, hygiene and epidemiology, pharmaceutical services, patient assistant and health statistics.
They are already participating in the assistance work to face Covid-19 in isolation centers, hospitals and primary care.
Yoelvis Estanquero and Melissa Toledo, comprehensive graduates of Medicine, received the Gold Title, the recognition of Student Scientific Merit and are Members of the Mario Muñoz Vanguard Movement. These doctors show the modesty, selflessness and altruism of medicine for Cuba and for the world, proud to be part of the history of a nation that preserves the health of its people
