Mayabeque, Cuba: The province of Mayabeque registered 89 new positive cases for Covid-19 at midnight yesterday, according to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) in Cuba.
Jaruco is the municipality with the highest number of infections with 30 people with the virus, followed by San José de las Lajas with 12, Güines confirms 11, Melena del Sur and Batabanó each with 8 patients.
Madruga has 6 cases and Santa Cruz del Norte: 5, Nueva Paz and Quivicán each have 4 patients and the territory with the lowest number of patients is Batabanó with 1 case.
In Mayabeque a person died and belongs to Batabanó. We regret what happened, and convey our condolences to family and friends.
