Mayabeque, Cuba: Professionals from the House of Orientation to Women and the Family, belonging to the Cuban Women Federation in San José de las Lajas, promote preventive work and encourage values as part of the programs of the Cuban Revolution.
The Orientation Houses were established in 1990 at the initiative of the Cuban heroine Vilma Espín and with the aim of strengthening the role of the family in society, as well as achieving the cultural improvement of those associated with the female organization.
