Mayabeque, Cuba: The province of Mayabeque registers 48 positive cases for Covid-19 in 9 of its eleven municipalities at midnight yesterday for an accumulated of 38 thousand 714 infections during the pandemic.
Of the total number of patients, one is imported and the rest are contacts of confirmed cases.
Nueva Paz has 17 people with the Sars-CoV-2, San José de las Lajas has 12, Jaruco 6 and Bejucal 5.
On the other hand, Madruga, Güines and Santa Cruz confirm 2 each and San Nicolás and Melena del Sur one respectively.
The health authorities of the province do not report any deceased.
It is important that the population continue with social distancing, the correct use of the face mask and the constant disinfection of hands and work surfaces to avoid contagion with the disease and win the battle against the coronavirus that began more than a year ago.
