Mayabeque, Cuba: The Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and National Coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, exchanged with soldiers, officers and civilian workers from the Military Region of Mayabeque.
During the appointment Hernández Nordelo toured the areas of the unit to verify the modernization of the technique that favors the preparation of human resources.
He was also informed on the feeding of the unit personnel and the training of the special troops.
Emotional was the exchange with the soldiers who comply with the Active Military Service. Motivated by the dialogue, Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, narrated anecdotes lived during the captivity in North American jails.
As the culmination of the activity, they gave the Young Communists League card to five soldiers and recognized the work of these boys in supporting the distribution of oxygen, the preparation and distribution of modules and in the delivery of international parcels.
