Havana, Cuba: The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reported 592 new cases with Covid-19 and two deaths at the end of this Wednesday due to complications with the coronavirus, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.
The report detailed that 10,143 patients are admitted, 5,790 suspects, 1,304 under surveillance and 3 049 confirmed active.
For Covid-19, a total of 21,935 samples were made for surveillance during the day for a cumulative of 10 million 601,104 samples made and 954 thousand 342 positive.
Of the total of cases, 587 were contacts of confirmed cases; three with a source of infection abroad; two without a specified source of infection. Of the 592 cases diagnosed, 310 were female and 282 male.
12.2% (72) of the 592 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 131,331, which represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date.
The diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years (86), from 20 to 39 years (141), from 40 to 59 years (212) and over 60 (153).

Of the 954 thousand 342 patients diagnosed with the disease, three thousand 049 remain hospitalized, of which two thousand 961 with stable clinical evolution. There are 8,252 deaths for a fatality of 0.86% vs 2.02% in the world and 2.45% in the Americas; two evacuees, 55 returned to their countries, on the day there were 786 discharges, 942 thousand 984 recovered patients accumulate (98.8%). 88 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, 33 of them critical and 55 seriously ill.
