Cuba confirms 403 cases of Covid-19 during the last day.

Havana, Cuba: The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported this Thursday four deaths and 403 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for an accumulated of 957 thousand 735 diagnoses since the beginning of the disease in the nation, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.

At midnight yesterday, November 10, 6,777 patients were admitted, 4,452 suspects, 251 under surveillance and 2,074 confirmed active.

For COVID-19, a total of 18,235 samples were made for surveillance during the day, resulting in 403 positive. The country accumulates 10 million 738 thousand 462 samples made and 957 thousand 735 positive.

Of the total number of cases (403): 396 were contacts of confirmed cases; 3 with a source of infection abroad; 4 without a specified source of infection. Of the 403 diagnosed cases, 216 were female and 187 male.

17.1% (69) of the 403 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 131 thousand 867, which represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date.

The 403 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years (68), 20 to 39 years (89), 40 to 59 years (144) and over 60 (102).

Of the 957 thousand 735 patients diagnosed with the disease, 2 thousand 074 remain hospitalized, of which 2 thousand 012 with stable clinical evolution. There are 8,278 deaths (4 in the day), fatality of 0.86% vs 2.02% in the world and 2.44% in the Americas; two evacuees, 55 returned to their countries, on the day there were 711 discharges, 947 thousand 326 recovered patients accumulate (98.9%). 62 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, 17 of them critical and 45 seriously ill.
