Havana, Cuba: The Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reported this Friday 362 new cases with Covid-19 and one deceased in the last 24 hours, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.

At the end of this Thursday, 6,761 patients were admitted, 4,480 suspects, 236 under surveillance and 2,045 confirmed active.

For Covid-19, a total of 18,720 samples were made for surveillance during the day, accumulating 10 million 757 thousand 182 samples taken and 958,097 positive.

Of the total number of cases, 354 were contacts of confirmed cases; six with a source of infection abroad and two without a specified source of infection. Of the 362 cases diagnosed, 204 were female and 158 male.

19.3% (70) of the 362 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 131,937, which represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date.

The 362 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (70), from 20 to 39 years old (83), from 40 to 59 years old (121) and over 60 (88).

Pinar del Río: 23, Artemisa: 8, Havana: 26, Mayabeque: 4, Matanzas: 2, Cienfuegos: 5, Villa Clara: 15, Sancti Spíritus: 44, Ciego de Ávila: 8, Camagüey: 87, Las Tunas: 14, Granma: 13, Holguín: 93, Santiago de Cuba: 6 and Guantánamo: 14

Of the 958,097 patients diagnosed with the disease, 2,045 remain hospitalized, of them 1,987 with stable clinical evolution.

There are 8,279 deaths (1 per day) for a fatality of 0.86% vs 2.02% in the world and 2.44% in the Americas; two evacuees, 55 returned to their countries, on the day there were 390 discharges, 947 thousand 716 recovered patients accumulate (98.9%). 58 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, of which 15 are critical and 43 are seriously ill.

On the day, 1 deceased patient was reported. We deeply regret what happened and convey our condolences to his family and friends.
