Havana, Cuba: The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported this Sunday three deaths and 348 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for an accumulated of 958 thousand 738 diagnoses since the beginning of the disease in the nation, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.
At midnight yesterday, November 13, 6,714 patients were admitted, 4,744 suspects, 220 under surveillance and 1,750 confirmed active.
For COVID-19, a total of 19,978 samples were made for surveillance during the day, resulting in 348 positive. The country accumulates 10 million 797 thousand 376 samples made and 958 thousand 738 positive.
Of the total cases (348): 339 were contacts of confirmed cases; 3 with a source of infection abroad; 6 without a specified source of infection. Of the 348 cases diagnosed, 174 were female and 174 male.
14.9% (52) of the 348 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 132,042, which represents 13.7% of those confirmed to date.
The 348 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years (65), 20 to 39 years (69), 40 to 59 years (95) and over 60 (119).
Of the 958 thousand 738 patients diagnosed with the disease, one thousand 750 remain hospitalized, of which one thousand 700 with stable clinical evolution. There are 8 thousand 282 deaths (3 in the day), fatality of 0.86% vs 2.02% in the world and 2.44% in the Americas; two evacuees, 55 returned to their countries, on the day there were 396 discharges, 948 thousand 649 recovered patients accumulate (98.9%). 50 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, 19 of them critical and 31 seriously ill.
