Havana, Cuba: The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reported 326 new cases of Covid-19 this Monday and one death in the last 24 hours, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

At midnigth yesterday, 6,576 patients were admitted, 4,576 suspects, 245 under surveillance and 1,755 confirmed active.

For Covid-19, a total of 19,065 samples were made for surveillance during the day for a cumulative of 10 million 816 thousand 441 samples made and 959 thousand 064 positive.

Of the total cases (326): 319 were contacts of confirmed cases; 3 with a source of infection abroad; 4 without a specified source of infection. Of the 326 cases diagnosed, 157 were female and 169 male.

16.6% (54) of the 326 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 132 thousand 096, which represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date.

The 326 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years (64), 20 to 39 years (76), 40 to 59 years (97) and over 60 (89).

Of the 959 thousand 064 patients diagnosed with the disease, one thousand 755 remain admitted, of which one thousand 704 with stable clinical evolution. There are 8,283 deaths (one per day), a fatality rate of 0.86% vs 2.01% in the world and 2.44% in the Americas; two evacuees, 55 returned to their countries, on the day there were 320 discharges, 948 thousand 969 recovered patients accumulate (98.9%). 51 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, of which 17 are critical and 34 are seriously ill.

On the day, 1 deceased patient was reported. We deeply regret what happened and convey our condolences to his family and friends.
