Mayabeque, Cuba: With the completion of the National Defense Day, the Moncada Exercise in Mayabeque concluded to increase the preparedness and combative disposition conceived as part of the All People’s War.
During the day, he prepared the defense zones and councils to strengthen the leadership and command structures with the aim of consolidating citizen peace and tranquility.
The area with the highest population density with more than 40 thousand inhabitants in San José de las Lajas, included in the defense zone 02, included the execution of a group of actions.
Young people and workers from the Acuahabana Company, the Puntex clothing workshop, the construction materials base business unit and the Poultry Genetics Companies, and the Alimentaria, participated with a sample of their main productions.
They also carried out the cleaning of the magisterial canal in the capital city to reduce vulnerabilities in the popular council of Jamaica and nearby places.
The Student Bastion held at the Agrarian University of Havana Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez had the role of teachers and students to acquire knowledge and skills that allow them to act in the performance of their responsibilities in the field of defense, in the professional field and as citizens.
The facility hosted infantry demonstrations, on the use of weapons, the main media, ground artillery, and military engineering, among others.
In this way, the new generations demonstrated the combative disposition in the fight against the subversion of the enemy and showed their confidence in the Cuban Revolution.
Regarding the Moncada Exercise, they carried out the promotion ceremony to the next higher rank of Reserve Officers, in the context of the fifth anniversary of the physical disappearance of Commander Fidel Castro and the 65th anniversary of the armed uprising in Santiago de Cuba, the landing of the expeditionaries of the Granma Yacht and Revolutionary Armed Forces Day.
The Health for the Revolution Festival was the culmination of the day to recognize the professionals of the medical sciences who participated in the fight against Covid-19 and contributed to saving human lives.
