Meeting between the Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero and the President of Bolivia, Luis Arce.

Havana, Cuba: The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero, ratified this Wednesday the will to strengthen the relationship with the people and Government of Bolivia in a meeting with the president of that South American country, Luis Arce.

The government representative welcomed the president, who on this day is making an official visit to the Caribbean nation, after participating the day before in the XX Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples’ Trade Treaty.

Marrero pointed out that the exchange will make it possible to strengthen ties of friendship and consolidate ties between the two nations, according to the website of the Presidency.

“We reiterate all our solidarity to his people and country,” he said.

On his part, Arce thanked the reception and assured that he felt at home

“We also come ready to work to improve our relationships and the lives of our peoples,” he said.

The South American head of state today paid tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, and was received by President Miguel Díaz-Canel, for official talks.

Previously, he visited the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, in this capital, where innovative drugs are produced, including the Abdala vaccine, against the Covid-19 disease.
