Mayabeque, Cuba: The Attorney General of the Republic of Cuba, Yamila Peña Ojeda, presented a recognition to the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office of San José de las Lajas for the work carried out during 2021.
The foregoing took place at the conclusion of the Annual Balance of the Mayabeque Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, where they evaluated the work results of the past year, and the commitments for 2022.
The Chief Prosecutor of the municipality, Ariagne Pérez Pérez, speaking at the meeting, highlighted the work of the group she leads, which despite the difficult epidemiological situation that characterized last year, found alternatives to carry out its work and fulfill the constitutional missions of the body it represents.
It also meant the incorporation of new professionals who, in addition to providing knowledge, transmit their energies to enthusiastically undertake each task of the Prosecutor’s Office.
The Annual Balance of the Mayabeque Prosecutor’s Office included interventions by the Chief Prosecutors of municipalities and departments of the provincial instance who reflected on the results and presented the experiences gained in a complex year but in which work did not stop.
The Attorney General of the Republic recognized that Mayabeque is advancing and expressed satisfaction with the Balance in which she perceived coherence in the work, unity and preparation of its professionals.
