For COVID-19, a total of 16,561 samples were taken for surveillance on the day, with 1,460 being positive for 8.8% positivity. The country accumulates 12 million 715 thousand 747 samples carried out and 1 million 047 thousand 860 positives.
Of the total cases (1,460): 1,417 were contacts of confirmed cases, 21 with a source of infection abroad and 22 without a specified source of infection. Of the 1,460 diagnosed cases, 782 were female and 678 male.
9.2% (134) of the 1,460 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 143,286, which represents 13.7% of those confirmed to date.
