Mayabeque, Cuba: Strengthening preventive work in schools in the municipality of Nueva Paz is a priority to avoid contagion with Covid-19 and keep educational institutions running.
In this sense, the protocol to be complied with, taking into account the hygienic-sanitary measures for face-to-face teaching activity, guarantees the safety and health conditions for students, teachers and non-teaching staff.
As declared by the municipal director of the sector, Clara Esther Navarro García, this combat becomes more effective taking into account the number of students under her responsibility. “Our premise today is to take care of the health of workers and our students,” she asserted.
“Each teacher becomes the guardian of the health of their students, guaranteeing the placement of footsteps, the cleaning of hands with chlorinated water, the disinfection of common areas with chlorine,” she stressed.
In day care centers they also take measures to prevent the spread of the virus. The care is greater due to the age of the little ones. All responsibility falls on the staff, they have to constantly guarantee cleanliness, the correct use of the mask.
